Well we hurt each other ..... Day 12 part 1

Throughout the day of Day 11 and continuing on into the night the remaining fifty people in the room spent the night getting to know one another. Learning that they're more than just numbers and that they are in this together. Jim spoke to each of them as if it was his personal house party, going back and forth and introducing other to each other based upon the little tid bits he learned from each of them.

"Cynthia, this Janice, Janice this is Cynthia, did you know your both from West Virginia." he moved through out the room asking them if they've had enough to eat and drink, did they have any medical issues or did they need to talk to someone to help them along.

Dalton's ghosts - Every day is exactly the same

These days in this room have been trying, and when this started he thought for sure he knew the outcome, it wouldn't end pretty. Every day is a new horror, but when everyday is filled with fear, its not really fear anymore, its just a Wednesday. Its any day of the week. Every day becomes the same, the routine of pain or fear, worrying nervously over things that are beyond control becomes the normal.

Liz's thorns

One song has followed her in her life, so much so that along her side she had tattooed up her body a vine of flowers fully equipped with thorns. Most look at the body art and see pretty flowers and think its sweet, but to her she looks in the mirror and she sees the thorns.

We're one, but we're not the same ..... Day 11

The awning retracts, to a certain point where most of the group can stand up, they have to then help untangle 5 people from the net and allow their bodies to fall to the floor so that the make shift ceiling can go back into the walls. Five more dead, and one to leave today, that makes a total of 50 people gone from this room, half of the people that started are already gone.

Several people move the bodies to one of the walls out of the way as the rest of the group moves to the center and awaits the monitor to come on and Cipher to release whomever has number ten. Jim stands and stares at the bodies against the wall. "Hey you okay?" Scott walks up to him and puts his hand on his shoulder.

Ross looking for help

Mac and Cheese. Everyone sat around discussing the foods they would eat when they left, the restaurants they would go to, the wine they would order or how they might even spend hours in the kitchen creating the meals that they would put together for themselves and their families to have a great meal again, Ross wanted Mac and Cheese.

Daniel's promise

Perception is key, was a sign written on the wall of his old office. It was there to instruct everyone that all of us have a different perspective, that reality to each of us is different, there's not two sides to a story, there's a an unknown number of different sides to a story, one for each person involved.

Now its all I got Day 10 part 2

The screams that are heard are different than those that are normally heard throughout the room, instead of the constant screaming or cries of help or sadness, these are shrieks of terror. They come in sporadic bursts as the small critters move across the floor, most likely just as scared as the humans that jump at the site of them.

"Does anyone know anything about snakes!" Daniel does what can best be described as a whisper scream.

"Not me, sorry, Ross?" Dalton looks over to Ross who looks as stiff as a board, fists clenched and eyes squeezed tight shut. "Ross?!"

"NO! I'm no ophiologist!" Ross tries to barely move as he shouts a response.

"What's an Ophiologist?" Liz looks over.

"It's someone who studies snakes." Ross responds, this time moving his mouth even less to respond.

"Why do you know that, but you don't know anything about snakes?" Daniel looks over to him.

You gave me nothing Day 10 part 1

The final note plays of the song and the lights come back on in the room.
In a couple of the previous days the torture had ended at some point in the night and they would be allowed at least a couple of hours of sleep without the constant hammering of Cipher's rule, but he kept that music playing all night long.

"I can't hear a damn thing." Daniel stands up and stretches, still sore from the Stingmore mine assault three days ago.
"What?!" Ross gets up and helps up Anne and Dalton.
"I said. I can't...wait I swear to God if your messing with me right now you're getting smacked." Daniel sneers at Ross.
Ross looks at Anne, "I probably shouldn't ask him what he said again."
"No. That would be bad." she answers back.
"What?" Ross smirks and Anne smacks him. "ow."
"I'm never going to get that song out of my head." Liz walks over and joins them as the begin to move to the center of the room.
"I'd say something like if I never hear that song again before I die, I'll be a happy man, but seeing as how I'm number 52, I'm not saying that." Ross chuckles as he moves with the group.
